The unique backgrounds of the attorneys of Camic Johnson enhance their current practice. Mr. Johnson was formerly the elected state’s attorney of Kane County and is a former police officer. One of the firm’s more noted successes is Mr. Camic’s assistance in achieving one of the shortest jury acquittals in Illinois history, which only lasted seven minutes. Mr. Johnson actually represented a client who has been on death row who was ultimately released. Many of the firm’s attorneys speak at seminars for public defenders’ offices, bar association meetings and other organizations and have taught at local and regional law schools. Mr. Johnson’s book “Luck is a Talent” was recently published.
